MBBS in Kazan State Medical University - Eligibility Criteria

Certain criteria set by KSMU must be met by students applying for MBBS and for the MBBS program.

The admission criteria established by KSMU for students include:
1. Applicant must be at least 17 years of age as of December 31st of the applicant’s year.
2. The maximum age to enroll in a university is 25 years old.
3. The student must have completed year 12 with previous majors in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and English.
4. The student must have completed 10 standards with a board recognized by the Government of India.
5. Class 12 results in PCB subjects included a 50% score for the unreserved categories, For OBC 45% and a 40% score for the reserved categories
6. The candidate must have passed the NEET exam with a sufficient score.

There are 6 dorms very close to the university. The shelters are under police protection. There are different types of rooms of different sizes. 2-3 students can easily share a room. The rooms are fully furnished and well air conditioned. In the dormitory there is Internet access, a TV and a telephone for students. Bathrooms and kitchens must be used together. There is a special area for students where they can socialize and meet new friends.
