Admission For MBBS in India - Eligibility criteria

1. Students must have completed a 10 + 2 from an approved body with a minimum of 50% in subjects such as physics, chemistry, biology and English as a specialization in an aptitude test. However, the minimum level required for a reserved category is 40%.
2. When applying for the MBBS program, students must be at least 17 years old. The student must not be this age; otherwise admission is not possible. The maximum age of a student must be 25 years old.
3. The student must also meet the Medical Council of India (MCI) additional eligibility criteria for MBBS.
4. Before enrolling in MBBS, you must pass the following entrance exams.
5. Candidates for MBBS accreditation in India must obtain at least 50% in the proficiency test. The minimum grades required for candidates in the SC, ST and OBC categories for MBBS admission are 40%.

Duration of MBBS in India

The MBBS course lasts 5.5 years (5 academic years plus one year of internship). Upon completion of the course, a Compulsory Rotating Residential Internship (CRRI) is required as part of the MBBS degree in India.
