MBBS in National Academy of Medical Science - Eligibility Criteria

1. Students must be at least 17 years old.
2. Students must have passed with a total of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and also have English as a standard 12 Standard.
3. Students must have a NEET exam Scorecard.

Duration of MBBS at National Academy of Medical Science

The duration of the MBBS course at NAMS  is 5 years and 6 months, including 5 years of frontal training and 6 months of compulsory internship.

National Academy of Medical Science Admission Process

To be admitted to NAMS, you need to go through the following steps:
1. Students who wish to pursue medical studies in Nepal must first apply to the Ministry of Education as only 10% of the places are available.
2. For international students, there is an entrance exam that you have to qualify and then select based on the students’ performance.
3. After being selected by the entrance exam, students must apply according to the university calendar
4. Students must request that the application be submitted with certified true copies of the required documents listed below.
5. After verifying your documents, you will be accepted to study medicine at the university.

1. Certified copies of university certificates and certified international passports.
2. Proof of English proficiency is not required, but applicants must be proficient in English, otherwise they will not be able to apply to university.
