Eligibility Criteria For Admission in Samara State Medical University
As per the guidelines set forth by the National Medical Commission (NMC), the successor to the Medical Council of India (MCI), Indian students aspiring to pursue an MBBS degree at Samara State Medical University (SamSMU) must meet the following eligibility criteria, established during the 7th session meeting of the MCI on March 29th, 2017:
1. To be eligible for admission to a medical course, students must have completed 10+2 education with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as their subjects.
2. In Class 12th, students must score a minimum of 50% in PCB subjects for unreserved categories and 40% for reserved categories.
3. The student should be at least 18 years old as of the year of admission.
4. The NEET exam requires students to have a valid scorecard with a minimum score of 50th percentile for unreserved categories and 40th percentile for reserved categories.
Duration of MBBS at Samara State University, Russia
SamSMU offers a 6-year MBBS course for undergraduate students. Course changes could occur, according to the new Gazette released by NMC. After completing your MBBS degree, a one-year internship in your home country is mandatory.
