Ternopil National Medical University Introduction

Ternopil National Medical University is located in Ternopil city in Ukraine. It is a state-owned institution that offers MBBS training across a variety of fields. TNMU was established on the 12th of April in 1957, as an institute called TNMU. On July 1st in 1992, the institution was changed to Ivan Horbachevsky. It gained the statutorily-recognized status of State Medical Academy on 30 December 1997. Then, on 17 November 2004 the school was changed to Ivan Horbachevsky TNMU after its being recognized.

The clinics for the University were located within the municipal hospital at the time, and many structures were being built for the improvement of the health of personnel and students. The university at the was home to the capacity of 19 department and employed around 66 teachers. In this way, the institute grew its faculties and began various programs, and when Ukraine was granted autonomy in the year 1991, massive adjustments

 were made in the development of the Ternopil State Medical University Ukraine.

The TNMU got its 4th institutional accreditation in the year 1994. In 1995, the school added the nursing specialization and, in 2000, the university introduced the Faculty of Pharmacy. In the year 2016 it offered these classes.

MBBS in Ternopil National Medical University - Eligibility Criteria

1. At the time of admission, the candidate must be 17 years old.
2. The candidate must qualify for the NEET exam.
3. Applicants must be at least 50% PCB (physics, chemistry, biology).

Duration of MBBS at Ternopil National Medical University

The duration of MBBS TNMU is 6 years. This includes 5 years of face-to-face training and 8 to 10 months of internship.

Ternopil National Medical University Admission Process

To be admitted to TNMU, you need to follow these steps:
1. Fill in the application form with the correct information about the academic program.
2. Upload the scanned documents (scanned copy of scorecards 10 and 12, NEET scorecard, copy of medical certificate, copy of passport).
3. After your application has been reviewed and accepted by the university within 10-15 days, you will receive an invitation letter.
4. After receiving your invitation letter, you need to pay the application fee through Net Banking.
5. Students need to apply for their visa at the Embassy of Ukraine, but it takes 10 days for the visa to be processed.
6. Once you get a student visa, you can travel to Chernivtsi.
