Poltava state dental and medical university, formerly the Ukrainian Medical Stomatological Academy, is a state-run university located in the city of Poltava, Ukraine. It was established in 1967. It was officially established by Kharkiv Medical Academy in 1921. It was later renamed the Poltava Ukrainian Medical Stomatological and Oral Medicine Academy. To improve the education of the international student community from 38 countries, including Iran, Turkmenistan and India, a new faculty was established. In 1994, the university was awarded the highest accreditation for the lowest number of deaths during the procedures performed by its doctors. It was renamed the Poltava State Medical and Dental University. The campus of PSMDU includes 16 buildings, four dormitories, and other facilities such as cafeterias, reading areas, and more. PSMDU’s motto is “Never Stop Learning.” It believes in learning from all sources and creating a better future for itself and society.

1. Students must be at the least 17 years old when they apply.
